Klassic Garage spends its days with interesting, unusual, classic and specialist vehicles — preparing them, transporting them, maintaining them, and supplying them to the film and television industry. The kind of vehicles that need to be understood before they are touched.

The Vehicle Archive grew directly out of that. Customers kept asking the same question: where should this live when I am not using it? The honest answers available were a damp garage, a friend's barn, or a high-volume storage warehouse where the vehicle becomes a unit of floor space.

Why it is deliberately small

We could fit more vehicles in. We have chosen not to. A smaller collection is the only way to actually know what is stored, keep the environment controlled, manage who comes through the building and give each vehicle real attention.

It is not exclusivity for its own sake. It is the difference between a service and a car park.

For the passion of vehicles. Not the profit of space.

That line is the whole business in eight words. It is not about how many vehicles we can fit into a building — it is about looking after the ones already inside.

What that means in practice

Access is managed rather than unrestricted. Vehicles are checked and photographed in. Owners get a portal rather than a phone number and a hope. Collection is offered because moving a vehicle badly is an easy way to undo years of care.

And if the Archive is the wrong fit for how you use your vehicle, we will say so before you move it rather than after.
